As I was going through my education, we discussed the pedometers and the goal of 10,000 steps a day that different organizations were suggesting for everyone. The new research talks about a more personalized program that increases your steps 2,000 to 4,000 steps per day. She does a good job giving a brief overview of pedometers and general introduction to the issues with them. I am a fan of pedometers and its a good place to start.
