Fitness Fundamentals

Before participating in any exercise program, you should consult your physician to ensure you are healthy enough to perform these activities. 

What exercises are good? How many times a week should I workout? Should I lift weights or just do cardiovascular workouts? There are so many questions that people have about their exercise routines. It seems like if you ask different trainers or fitness industry workers you get different answers to the same questions. I will help you get straight forward answers. Answers that you can depend on. Feel free to ask me about it and always question who is answering you. If they can't provide you with why they think that, then find a new source.

* There are three major components to fitness: flexibility, cardiorespiratory, strength

Multi-joint exercise are superior to isolation exercises

* Rest is important! 

* Exercise has many different schools of thought. Find one you like and enjoy it! Keep an open mind to others though as they all have their benefits
