Let me qualify all of this and say that I am not a nutritionist and nor do I claim to be. I continue to read articles and research on nutrition and will help provide the best information possible.
There is no doubt in my mind that at least 60% of wellness is what you feed your body. It is very common for people to workout as hard as the next person in the gym, but not see results like they want because they continue to eat greasy, processed foods with little to no nutritional value. There are so many diets and philosophies on nutrition out there that sometimes its hard to even follow.
Here are some basics:
* Get your fruits and vegetables
* Avoid artificial sugars as much as possible
So now that we have those tidbits out of the way, I just want to stress this point. Any changes you make, need to be a for a lifetime. No temporary fixes. If that means having one cheat day a month or even one a week, then go for it. I am all about enjoying life and being able to have an indulgence once in a while. Unless you cannot control yourself, have something in moderation.
